A Better You Retreats & Wellness | Liability Waiver Form for Wellness Retreat

TERMS OF SERVICE

It is your responsibility to fully understand the terms and conditions for the retreat. Please carefully review what is and is not included in your retreat package and view all details on our website. If you have questions regarding these terms, we are happy to provide clarification prior to signing this agreement.

PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATIONS

1. Retreat Pricing
   All prices are per person and include retreat costs only; travel costs to and from the retreat are not included.

2. Retreat Payment & Deposit
   Payments can be made via credit card or Stripe through our website. If a non-refundable deposit is made, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the retreat start date. Reminder emails will be sent one week prior to the due date. Failure to make full payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation.

3. Strict Cancellation Policy
   Retreat cancellations must be submitted via email to info@abetterucounseling. You’ll get a full refund of your deposit if you cancel within a month, a 50% refund if it’s after a month, and no refunds will be made after the payment deadline specified in section 2. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, health, personal emergencies, or other circumstances.

4. Transfer Policy
   Reservations cannot be transferred to another retreat or individual.

5. Retreat Cancellations
   A Better You Retreats & Wellness reserves the right to make changes to any advertised activities. In the rare event of retreat cancellation, participants will receive either a transfer to another retreat (if available) or a full refund. We are not responsible for any expenses incurred due to cancellation, such as travel or preparation costs.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

For retreats held outside the United States, participants must ensure their passports have at least six months of validity at the time of travel. Participants are responsible for acquiring any required visas, travel insurance, or documentation.

ROOMMATES

1. Roommate Assignments
   Rates are per person, based on shared occupancy. If you do not specify a roommate, we will attempt to match you with another participant. If you don’t want to share, you’ll have to add an $1000 for a single room.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

1. Assumption of Risk
   By enrolling in this retreat, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with activities involved. You release A Better You Retreats & Wellness, its employees, guides, and representatives from liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation.

2. Physical Training Release of Liability
   Participation in yoga, exercise, or physical training carries risks, including injury or death. You acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for your participation.

3. Indemnification
   You agree to indemnify and hold A Better You Retreats & Wellness harmless for injuries or damages resulting from your negligence during retreat activities.

MEDIA RELEASE

1. Permission for Capture and Use
   By participating in the retreat, you grant A Better You Retreats & Wellness permission to use photographs, videos, or testimonials for promotional purposes without compensation.

WAIVER

1. Release and Waiver of Liability
   You agree not to hold A Better You Retreats & Wellness liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the retreat. You assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and well-being throughout the retreat.

2. Acknowledgement of Responsibility
   You acknowledge that A Better You Retreats & Wellness is not a licensed medical provider. You agree to consult your physician before participating and to modify activities as necessary for your comfort and safety.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law rules. By signing below, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined above.
